I’m really excited to put this post up, as thinking about this reminds me of my first experience of this event back in January this year. It’s probably the most exciting internet marketing event that you’ll find in Australia and the UK, and the content of the event is absolutely golden! I got a lot of great feedback about the event, and I myself have learned a heap load on the day itself. An event is being held this weekend in Brisbane, and one in Sydney on 16th and 17th of May, and I’m so excited to be part of the Sydney event.

The event is called Smart Online Profit Systems, and it’s conducted by 2 of Australia’s leading internet marketers, Shaun Stenning and Sean Rasmussen. Hi, my name is Kelvin Lim, and I’m an internet marketer. I’ve been trying to do a few strategies online in order to make money, but they have all cost me lots of money, and never produced any results. If they will, it will be a long time for them to come out, and by then, it would have cost me heaps of money! I went on and searched for days and months, looking for a cheaper, cost-effective and more importantly, effective strategy for internet marketing, and found this concept of affiliate marketing.

For those new to affiliate marketing, this is basically selling someone else’s product using affiliate links online, and once you make a sale through the affiliate site, you earn some commission! Using affiliate marketing doesn’t require you to pay any setup fees. You just find a product you wish to sell, sign up for their affiliate program (if they have one and offer one), and voila! You’re in the game!

As with anything, there is a catch. Not a lot of people have been successful with it. It’s because there is a certain strategy that needs to be put in place before you can convince people to buy the product that you’re selling. Viral marketing is one approach some use, BUT it’s definitely not effective! Your audience or potential customers could be annoyed and irritated by it (a lot of people are, to be honest), and then you won’t make a sale!

I’ve found a resource that is great for this. I saw this e-book online called “Year of the Affiliate” by Sean Rasmussen. I have been following Sean for some time now, and I have to say that this is a genuinely trustworthy guy, full of integrity, and he shows the result. He has struggled and made tons of mistakes before he was able to find the right formula to get internet marketing to work for him.
